Old Style Pilsner is a beer that’s only sold in Western Canada. And its loyal drinkers have become almost violently attached to their beer’s odd label – an illustrated scene of a beautiful green valley filled with an eclectic mix of vehicles and characters including rabbits, monks, a stagecoach, and big yellow bi-plane. So, it seemed the best way to spark a dialogue with the fanatical “Pil” drinkers was to invite them to think about the one part of their beloved label that’s still a mystery – “What’s behind the big red Pilsner Flag?” In this video, a trio of ardent fans discuss their theories and their rather unique costumes.
